The most recognizable client or largest transaction does not automatically offer the best internship experience. Look for an active deal with near-term work, a team willing to teach, and assignments you can finish during the internship. Prestige is a poor shortcut. A smaller transaction where you contribute to analysis and materials may teach you more than a headline deal that gives you little responsibility.
